Check if you can still connect to the the camera's UI, connect it to a router or computer. Try to ping its IP address and access the camera's UI, if ur able to access it, try to do the firmware upgrade again.

Linksys wvc200 keeps freezing up, also has a problem with internet explorer 8 & shuts the program down. just switched it to a new computer with windows 7 professional. Already upgraded firmware &...

Go to the Linksys website, download the NEWEST drivers for your camera and operating system. It seems that you've got a driver problem. Maybe there's a patch that's needed. You might check with Microsoft to see if there is.
As for Explorer 8, you should normally stay away from Microsoft software as a rule of thumb. Their stuff is buggy and full of holes. Are you "locked" into using Explorer? Use another browser!!! Use Mozilla, or Firefox, maybe Opera, anything but Explorer!
If that doesn't resolve your issues, then I would begin looking at the hardware. Specifically, the camera and cabling. Try with a different camera (same Maker and Model). Maybe the issue is with THAT camera and works fine with another. Same with the cabling, try a known good cable, or better yet, a NEW cable. Eliminate the variables, narrow down the problem!

BL-C131 died during firmware upgrade

Seems to be a common problem for these cameras even without doing firmware upgrade. The finnish importer Kaukomarkkinat Oy will not acknowledge it and will only sell new ones to customers complaining about this.

Product is aftermarket

Here is support page for your camera with driver and firmware download.
If camera is fine install driver, NOT firmware.
Unzip and install driver software with cam USB NOT connected to computer, this is important.
If camera still does not work you can install firmware, if computer crashes in mid of firmware install, this will badly damage your camera.
