Unfortunately, I don't believe there are Mac OS drivers for the Logitech QuickCam, especially since you are using an old version of Mac OS on an iBook.

Try downloading the driver from the below link. With Snow Leopard, if a printer is plugged in and Snow Leopard doesn't already have the driver, it's supposed to download it via Software Update; however, this sometimes does not work well.

Cant get computer to recognize web cam

The Quickcam Pro 9000 is only compatible with PC, Windows XP SP2 at least.

If your virtual PC runs Windows 7, there is a known issue running it in Windows 7. If this is the case, I suggest to contact the manufacturer.

There is one made for MAC though; QUICKCAM vision PRO. Manufacturer's part number is 960-000254.

Hope this helps! Please don't forget to rate or vote. All the best!

Used to work, now there's no video/picture. recognizes that it's connected, but nothing. replaced hard drive recently, was on Leopard before, now I'm back to Tiger OSX... how do I fix it???

ok , I suspect that the problem is not the changing of the Mac os from one to the other ..but the fact that when you reinstalled you lost the driver of the cammera for Mac Operating system ....you see...those web cams came on with drivers for microsoft OS in general ...and when you tried to put it using the original disc...it was useless ....probably someone provide you a driver for Mac before...and thats the reason that worked and now dont ...I found a dricer for Mac os ...probably it will fit...Im not sure cause Im do not use Mac ...but try it anyway ...and if it works...save it on a disk for future....
in any case let me know....! Good Luck !

Logitech quick cam pro 9000

Hello!

Logitech does not support Quick Cam Pro 9000 on MAC OS. The only two supported operating systems are Windows XP and Windows Vista.

You might go with a bit more expensive Quick Cam Vision Pro that is supported on Mac.
