Tell them to give you a NEW computer. You got a lemon. They WILL give you a new one if you've had this much trouble with it. I'm serious, they do it all the time on lemons. Be assertive! They will cave.

Have HP mini notebook. everytime im on the

Sounds like spyware / malware i would use an online scanner like Eset or a program like Malwarebytes.

also to stop the computer from restarting open the command prompt window (start menu, click run, type cmd, click ok...) type "shutdown.exe /a" without the "" and there is a space between exe and /a this will abort the shutdown.

1. Go into control panel
2. Open internet options
3. Click onto the advanced tab up at the top.
4. Click reset. (its just above apply)

Its most likely an old browser plug-in that is clogging it and that will remove it.

Problem with Olympus Master 2 (2.2 version

This solution requires a few parts.

One. If you haven't already, go to the manufacturer's website and make sure you have the most current software installed for all of the applications.

Two. If you do, then go to the event viewer by typing eventvwr in the run dialog box.

Clear the event viewer. Locate the drwatson utility for your windows operating system and enter that into the start menu so it will actually start up when when the icons are loaded into windows. Reboot the computer and locate the problem photos and load them.

It's okay this time if the computer crashes because drwatson will take a snapshot of what's happening.

Go onto the internet and type in what dr watson said.

Three. This may take you to Microsoft's website to see if there is a patch for this.

It will take a little time, you may need to do this and probably have to come back to this website. It's not to hard of a problem to figure out.

Boot error

Problem Solved: My MMP8567 screen read ''boot error shutting down''.
Everytime I plugged it in to the computer the computer would find it but then it would disappear almost immediately.
I downloaded the Updater program from Memorex but it couldn't find the player.
The directions from Memorex said ''Hold down the play button and plug in usb cable.'' 'Another set of Memorex directions said, ''Hold down the power button and plug in usb cable.'' Neither worked for me.
SOLUTION: I finally held down the LOCK/UNLOCK button and plugged in the usb cable. My computer found the player immediately and a software driver window popped up asking for a driver. I let windows search the internet and it found and installed the driver. The driver it was looking for was: ''player recover device class driver'' After windows confirmed it recognized my mp3 player I started up the Firmware update program and was able to update the player.
I tried to be clear and detailed. Good Luck ;-)
