Dear allanholt,
If you are tech. person then you can use a board pin to open the DVD or Cd drive, with the help of boardpin , for this you just have to push the pin a small hole ,which is infron of Drive ,you just put pin on this hole and press it, the tray of your drive will come out side. then you can just put a CD Lans cleaner Disk in to the drive tray and run it.

Otherwise ,incase you are not a Tech. person then my suggestion is , you just contact to the Authorised Service Centre , which is near to your place. they will repair itaccordingly.

When itry to install my laptop samsung r60 plus

I checked the manufacturer's web-site:

http://www.samsung.com/ca/support/download/supportDownMain.do

and did not find an 'R60' model of laptop.

Access that web-site, and enter the correct model-number,
and download the device-driver for your hardware.

Or, if it is a brand-new laptop, take it back to the retail store,
and ask them for assistance -- they took your money, and they should support you.
