Question about Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-S500 Digital Camera
When ever I go to take pictures it comes out with horizontal lines.
This can be a number of things. The CCD imager may be defective, or the processor may not be correctly addressing the CCD imager for the X-Y addressing, or there may be a bad connection between the imager and the processor, and there may be some data loss in the image processor just to mention a few things that this could be from.
The camera would have to be properly diagnosed at the service shop.
I think film was a lot easier than these digital cameras! There was only a lens, the case, a mechanical timer, and a mechanical shutter system when compared to a digital camera. Everything was very precise, but in theory it was a lot simpler.
