Help with burning off my home made dvd on my laptop Acer Aspire 5610z
I'm trying to burn off a home made dvd and the driver on my Acer Aspire 5610z wont burn the information onto the disc correctly. When I put the disc into a dvd player after the burning, it is not detected as a disc?? So I put the newly burned disc back into the laptop and my Aspire dosen't reccognise the disc anymore? It knows it's a blank dvd when i'm going to burn it but after the bruning has finished my own dvd drive dont reccognise it?? Can anyone help ????

i would unistall every burning program you have and install burn4free from burn4free.com its free and it burns everything. I think maybe you have your software set to make an image file rather than burn a disk
I see ..if it reads the cd and dvd-s it is probably good and all you have to do is to reinstall the program that u use to burn disks ..but about the second issue with the sound ..try to reinstall the sound driver ..maybe its corrupt ..also look at the settings in the sound driver to see if it isn't maybe locked on left from balance ..but if you cant figure just reinstall the sound driver too ... By the way if you was using vista program to burn dvd an cd ...just reinstall the whole machine ..it might just fix all the problems..I suspect that its bug-ed
