This error is caused by a near flat BIOS battery. Replace the BIOS battery and then go to the BIOS configuration and set the Date and Time settings etc.

Bij doorstarten moet ik steeds f1 indrukken en bij het afsluiten krijg ik een blauw scherm met de tekst Hardware malfuction call your hardware vendor for support NMI:parity check/memery parity...

NMI parity error (Non-maskable Interrupt) is generally a motherboard or a RAM issue.
You can try flashing the BIOS to A04 (You'll need to copy the flash executable to a bootable CD or bootable USB drive to run the flash.
Try individual or different RAM modules
if all those do not resolve, issue is most likely the motherboard.

My girlfriends Hp Pavilion A305W powers on then automatically powers off after it show a brief error message but also says F1 for startup. Should i press F1 and continue diagnosis?

Most probably your system is not getting your BIOS settings from your mainboard due to CMOS battery failure.

Check your CMOS 3.0v battery & replace it. Then reconfigure your BIOS settings from the CMOS setup.

Hope it helps

Computer recently started stopping during startup on a page that I have to choose either f1 setup or f2 continue. it didn't do that before. I want to bypass that page

This is a bios issue... Most likely you need to press F1 and then Save and Exit and will go away... Sounds like a checksum error or something is off in the BIOS and it is letting you know ; )
