Question about AudioBahn AVM270Q 7in Widescreen Car Monitor

1 Answer

Audiobahn AVM270Q (white out)

I have the Audiobahn AVM270Q installed for about more than a year now and just recently all you see is white. I get audio and can barely make out the picture if any(I have already set the Tint and Color high, and the contrast and bright all the way low; and nothing). I can barely even make out the text on the menu display.

You have to check if Video cable from Flip Down Monitor has RCA Plug Cable or Super VHS Plug Cable.

RCA Plug is Yellow for Video= connected to Yellow Input of radio maybe loose.

Get VCR or Video Camera and connect Video Output with cable to Yellow RCA Plug of Flip Down Monitor.

Turn car on and VCR/Video Camera: you should get video to FL Monitor.

If not, then FLM is defective or has adjustment problems..

Does an audiobahn A2801Q throw 1000 watts

Hello... I can help you with this question. This particular amplifiers specifications are as follows:

  • 200 watts x 2 @ 4 ohms stereo
  • 280 watts x 2 @ 2 ohms stereo
  • 560 watts x 1 @ 4 ohms mono
These specifications are RMS power, which would mean continuous "real" power output. Hope this helps!

Check your cap, it prob went bad. That could be restricting the power flow now. Try it with out the cap. that just might be the prob.

Try to some polyphil or something like cotton to fill some of the empty space in the box to stop the echo. be sure to chek specs for the speaker you are building the box for. Speakers and their enclosures differ by speaker.
