TES LCD I got a TES LCD TV and after moving it to another room one day...a small crack appeared on the top. Its gotten a bit bigger since I moved it by about 1.5cm downwards. It is also visible when the LCD TV is switched off...slightly lighter black than the rest of the tv. Now is this repairable? I've seen some of the cracked LCD images on tv and it doesnt look cracked like that...if not very visible but if there's an easy way to repair it then my wife would be very happy.... :)

Sorry to say it sounds like the LCD panel is damaged. The LCD panel can cost as much as the TV and if that set was made in china you have a big problem trying to get parts. The bottom line is a very costly repair.

Tv lcd screen got knocked know a red line and a dark patch is getting bigger across screen

You have damaged the LCD Display, the cost of those are close to the cost of a new set. One day the manufacturers will put a safety screen on the front like the older projection sets had to protect those screens. When I sell a lcd set I always recommend to the customer to have a piece of Plexiglas installed over the front, especially if it's for the kids room. Of coarse it's a DIY project.

Black vertical mark on computer

If it is an LCD monitor it sounds like the monitor got cracked when you moved it. Either that or one of the edge connectors has gotten damaged and is causing a dead column of pixels.

One other possibility is a bad video card or video cable, hook the monitor up to another computer and see if the line is still there, if not, video card or cable. If line is still there then there is either a crack or bad edge connector. Crack there is no fix, except a new monitor. Edge connectors can sometimes be repaired by the appropriate service technician.

Good luck

Red line in top corner of screen

Sounds like an IC on the LCD panel went out of TV. Only thing to do is replace panel (it won't go away only get worse) It will probable be cheaper to just get another tv.
