I bought a sciphone and it will not let me send sms messages.only mms.and i cant open them.im able to recieve both mms and sms but it wont download my mms messages or let me rreply to my sms messages.how do i fix this

depending on brand signal may have dropped, and you could be out of minutes, I would check where I bought the phone ask them to check it out for you

There is a code that needs to be input in a specific area to do so. Ask your seller for the correct number or u can can get it from your service provider. Ask them the number the SMS messages connect through.

you need to ring your phone carrier. they can send you an SMS message to reset the MMS settings for the phone.

Multimedia Message Service or MMS settings for your mobile needs to be downloaded from your Network service Provider in order for you to send/receive Picture messages....Contact them by SMS to automatically send you the settings for your specific model phone.

get the mms service activated and get the settings for mms from ur service provider

last time i had to do this i rang up my service provider eg (optus or telstra etc) n tell them u want to enable MMS settings...they'll ask u what modle phone u have etc then they should sms a link to ur phone...u open it and save it and u should be able to send mms...i think their called WAP settings

It sounds like you have overridden the MMS settings provided by TMobile. Have they resent these settings to you? Save these as you did previously, and you should be able to carry on.

Check you have send via MMS option from a contact in your address book.

you didnt specify which cell phone service you are using. here by guess is how to set up your MMS for TMOBILE. if you have another provider let me know and I can post those settings. You have to follow this exactly.
SMS, MMS AND VOICEMAIL:

SMS:
1- Click on thee envelope icon it will take you to Messages -->CLICK ON SMS
1- Message settings–> click in Profile Setting
2- Click edit on any profile name it T-mobile that will be line No. 1 in No.2 type +12063130004

MMS:
1-Message Settings–>click Server Profile
2-Click on any 1–> click on Edit Profile
1- Rename profile: T-mobile MMS
2- Homepage: http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
3-Data Account: click on GPRS–> choose Tmobile–> press OK
4- Connection Type: HTTP : 216.155.165.050 - > port 8080
5- Username: leave it blank
6 Password: leave it blank
CLICK ON DONE –> SAVE–>ACTIVATE PROFILE

Do you want to sent mms/sms. for sending mms you need to suscribe from your operator and save mms settings on your mobile.
For sms check your message center number with your network provider and input the number in your message setting option.

There is message setting menu in main menu, and you have selected MMS. You have to change the setting to SMS and it will allow you to send text.
