Send, disconnect, arrows on display dont light up and camera doesnt work. Can dial but cant send
My phone was locked today. After unlocking with last 4 numbers of my own phone number, the display lights were gone. But the number dial pad lights are still on. Now I can dial numbers but cannot press the SEND button or take pictures to use the OK button. I can still receive calls though.Does anyone have a solution for this?

the lock code is by default the last 4 of the phone number...if that doesn't work dial *228 send and choose option #1 to reprogram when its complete it will power cycle and then the lock code will be defaulted back to last 4 of phone number
LG VX 8300 Reset Lock Code To DefaultIf you have your phone serviced with Verizon this should work. Dial *228 then push send. You will get 3 options to choose from. 1. To program your phone. 2. To update your roaming capabilities. Can't remember 3rd option. If you choose 1st option, program your phone you will be told to hold while your phone is being programmed. When finished your phone should turn off then on again itself. Your lock code is then set to default. (last 4 digits of phone #)
Many people never program a password code to "Unlock" this phone, but can lock themselves out by pressing the # key for more than three seconds. I know, it happened to me when I was out of town and needed the phone to work! Anyway, press the button to the right of the large round button at the top of the keypad, you will get a prompt to enter the four digit "Unlock" code. The default from Verizon, and most likely the factory default from LG, is the last four digits of your cell number. Did this work for you too?
