6f is actually bf, which ive seen could be 2 issues. 1 is battery fault. The other is more than likely if you have a cellular, long range honeywell communication unit and it has lost communication (maybe cause you no longer have service). To remove look up on internet how to retrieve installer code from programming mode, then enter installer code followed by 8 00 then codes like *29 *94 etc. There is a diy sites that has detailed step by step info on how to do it.

Beep codes

The beep indications may vary between motherboard manufacturers. If you have your motherboards manual handy you should refer to it as it will explain what the different beep codes mean. Usually a long beep refers to bad RAM. It could also possibly be a graphics card issue. You would have to check your manual to be sure.

Hard drive beeping noises

Never heard of a Harddrive beeping before, but I'll take your word for it.

The beeps you hear are BIOS Beep Codes.
The computer's way if telling you something is wrong, and an area to look into for it.

The beeps are a pattern, or Code.
For example; 1 Long beep, a pause; then 3 Short beeps.

One Short beep, pause, Short Beep, pause; and repeating over, and over.

So....................in your own words Eric, tell the jury where you were on the night in question?
Do you have any alibi's?

WHAT? !O_O!

I mean................what is the beep code you hear?

Plus what is the Product Number of the HP desktop computer?
This can be found on the back of the computer, in the white Service Tag.
P/N = Product Number

Post back in a Comment.

Cdc-m computer will not come on the on light works case fans comes on but that is all

Do you mean that your computer does not turn on just casing light lit on and Fan runs only? What means new, memory and case?

If just lights on, fan runs but no image on monitor or blank screen, you should hear some kind of sound form inside of the CPU casing. This is called beep code. If you hear continuous beep or 3 same beep with same length, it means your motherboard is missing RAM, just connect it properly. If does not work or stop try a good RAM installing to see the result and plug your this RAM to a working machine that have the same kind of RAM.
If you hear one long beep with two short beep After PC switching on, or Two long beep with one short beep following - that means your Graphics card is not connected properly, or damaged or miss matching. If you do not have any beep code after switching on the machine, your motherboard may not have build in emergency speaker. Try to clear this things first. Please mention details of your computer with model number of your motherboard. Let me know updates.

Dell beep code meanings

If an error occurs during startup that cannot be reported on the monitor, your computer may emit a beep code that identifies the problem. The beep code is a pattern of sounds: for example, one beep, followed by a second beep, and then a burst of three beeps (code 1-1-3) means that the computer was unable to read the data in NVRAM.
YOu can find complete table on Dell support site.

Most of such errors can be fixed with a system utility software RegInOut

the beeps codes means there is a problem with a piece of hardware (RAM, or graphics card ,etc)
I need to know the BIOS manufacturer to interpret the code (phoenix or award or AMI)
for COMPAQ it means BIOS error --and will have to reload it from a recovery cd.
for IBM it means system board failure-- need new mobo--for a beep code of 1 long and 2 short most all mean graphics card problem.

PC will not start

This sounds like a memory error, can you define the beeps. There is a thing called a "beep code" on all motherboards, the website for the motherboard defines what the beeps mean. For example: one long beep followed by two short beeps of continous spaced beeps without a break. chris http://www.motherboardsrus.net
