MTU Setting is Maximum Transfer Units. It may be fixed in the modem.
If you use a Modem Router the setting is usually changable in the Router settings.
You may have to contact you ISP Supplier and enquire.

log into modem using 192.168.2.1 in your browser and go to modem utility through browser.
then select last option on left of utility screen on left and choose reset.
this will reset modem to factory settings.
then call microsoft support there is a toll free support number in yellowpages.ca. ask them to help you setup pppoe connection in the xbox. you can set the mtu setting there also to 1492 for dsl broadband and if on cable use 1500
