Ok you will first need a Video file
Then convert the file using this Conversion tool
Then convert the file and transfer it to the AMV/Movies file in your SIP mp3 player.

Good luck.

I own the r451c which has an mp3 player, but when i insert the micro sd and go to music player, i get a prompt that says no mp3, what am doing wrong

You have to load mp3s on the micro SD card via the computer. To do it properly, you must place the mp3s in the folder that says My_Music which is located in the micro SD card. That folder is created once the micro SD card is first inserted into the phone.
I hope that helps.

Video Converter is a versatile yet easy to handle video converter. Almost all popular video files, such as AVI, MP4, WMV, 3GP, MOV, VOB, MPG, ASF, RM, RMVB, FLV (Flash), etc can be converted to desired formats so that you can easily put your favorite movies on iPod, iPhone, Zune, PSP, Mobile Phone, etc. Besides, it lets you convert any videos to MP3, WAV, M4A audio formats.

Avi player for k810i

A friend has one of these, and I'm looking in to a similar problem. It looks like video captured by the K810i is in the .mov format which is normally associated with QuickTime. There may be a converter out there that'll translate your avi into a .mov file. Possibly IrfanView will do it with the right codec plugin, or try http://www.any-video-converter.com/products/for_video_free/ or http://www.cocoonsoftware.com/ whose freeware product reviews well despite being in beta (the page is slow to load). Well, you can always try Reformatting it with the built in Operating System Format.. Since I have no 2000 boxes around anymore, I cannot tell you for sure that it will work with the older OS, but I have had to reformat my old MP3 Flash Stick Player before, and it worked... (Now I use a Zune, so if I loose it, I will have to try something more extreme, like updating the firmware..)

Now, all that being said, I also have a vast array of memory sticks that are quite dead, and formatting them does me no good at all...

Also, it could even be the USB ports themselves that are causing your issues.. one quick fix might be to update the drivers, or just uninstall the USB devices (Device Manager) and then reinstall them, just by rebooting your PC.

I have a great link for solving USB problems, since my website is down for repairs.. read through this for some help with USB:

For XP: http://www.usbman.com/WinME%20USB%20Guide.htm

For 2000: http://www.usbman.com/Win2000.htm
