My GE Profile 9800 series was just installed today. The installer had it running when he left. This evening I went to set the controls for the hardness of the water and noticed that none of the electronic panel would light up, nor could I get the the dishwasher to run. Any ideas?

This is the fuse panel cover for a 1999 1500 Chevy Silverado which fuse controls the driver side window switch

The picture is too dark. Usually the power windows, all of them, are protected by a 25 or 30 amp circuit breaker. It is usually found in the instrument panel fuse block, under the dash on the driver's side. The circuit breaker is a matchbook size "fuse", usually silver colored. A circuit breaker automatically resets if it gets tripped by like a short.

If you pull off the master switch, the driver's side switch, you should have one hot wire with key on. The power wire and the ground for the windows are both in the driver's master switch. This is where you begin testing the power windows if none are working. Check for a hot wire, and check the ground wire- use a multi-meter.

No power in back bedroom

Locate your circuit panel, and check your fuses/circuit breakers.
Maybe breaker tripped?
To reset, remember: All the way to OFF position first, then flip towards ON.

Control panel lights not working and none of the buttons resond

Power? Has circuit breaker popped? Possible you have ground fault protected outlets and one of them popped like a circuit breaker. It usually causes all outlets on that circuit to also disconnect. They have a reset button similar to other circuit breaker devices, so double check. If it pops again, you may have a serious electrical problem or appliance problem. Unplug all appliances plugin one at a time to discover bad appliance. If none are bad and you still have frig problem. Time to call an electrician. You may be able to verify frig via extension cord from an outlet outside the kitchen. That if lights and buttons work, then you know it's the kitchen circuit problem. If not you may have a major problem with the control panel itself. Time for an appliance technician.

No power lights

Check circuit breaker to see if it is on, Then check the wall outlet to see if you have power to the machine. Turn off the breaker and open the control panel. See if there is a blown fuse. If the fuse is either not there or is not blown, turn the breaker back on and CAREFULLY measure the input voltage to the control panel main switch. If it is not there, check the door safety switch to see if power is there...Lots of troubleshooting...Have fun!

What do I do now

If the dishwasher is not available, you can carry out the following checks:

Step 1: Check to make sure the power supply. If it has a plug in the wall outlet, then check the wires, plugs and sockets, to ensure that they work properly. Also check the control socket of the switch, make sure it is closed. The vast majority of embedded dishwasher are directly connected with the line. Check the main control panel on the fuse is blown, the circuit breaker is disconnected, then recovery circuit. If your home is old-fashioned dishwasher, it may be associated with the sub-control panel is connected. Check the fuse or breaker panel, and then restore the circuit.

Step 2: If the line has been energized and the wall outlet is controlled by a switch, the switch is likely bad. Use a voltage tester switch. Remove the switch cover, a probe is placed at one end of the tester, another probe placed in the other end. If the detected light switch is good; If you do not, it is bad, you need to replace a switch of the same model new.

Step 3: Make sure that the the Xian bowl machine's door shut furrowed good. Only when the latch snap, the dishwasher before running. Check latch should shut door and lock, firmly hold down the latch, then the control knob to the "start". If the dishwasher can work, said latch is broken and needs to be cleaned, reinforcement or replacement.

Step 4: Make sure that the water supply, and the water temperature is high enough. The failure of the water heater will prevent the dishwasher water. Check the kitchen sink with hot water or bathroom. If we can release hot water, the water heater should be no problem.

Step 5: Make sure that the control panel controls are set correctly. Button controls the more new more sensitive. Make sure that these keys are firmly safety in the corresponding position.

Both the fan and the light stop working. What are the first things to try?

Good way of asking for help!-- Thank you!

First make sure the circuit is not tripped at the Circuit Breaker--
(Are other lights on the same circuit still working OK?)

You will need to verify which breaker controls the voltage to this fan--
and you will need to turn the breaker OFF, while dismantling the fixtures.

Can you communicate with someone at the Breaker Box, while you work safely?
Have them turn the circuit on when you are safe and ready -- and reading voltage, etc.

Next-- Do you have a dimmer switch, (or just a wall switch) on the wall?
Do you know if the power is supplied to the ceiling, thru that wall switch?
If so, check to see if the dimmer or the switch has power coming in and out at the wall, and heading up the ceiling supply wire.

If the power is supplied at the ceiling, then you are going to have to get a safe ladder, and remember Ladder safety rules!

The tough part, is getting the heavy fan and light assembly safely down, where you can make some voltage readings at the supply circuit wires at the ceiling--

Maybe you have found a loose wire nut by now?
Or maybe a defective dimmer or wall switch?

Or what are you observing at the junction box, and the fan motor now?

Tell us more-- and we'll see if we can help yo to the next step.

The water doesn't stay at the bottom of Dishwasher & The detergent doesn'e get totaly emptied out from detergent Tray. It looks like the the residue remain in the Dishwasher & On Dishes too. Please, help...

hi there,
no indication that machine is not working,is there any power supply, check the power source, circuit breaker switch on.

Step 1: Check to make sure it's receiving power. If the unit plugs into a wall outlet, check the cord, the plug, and the outlet to make sure they're functioning properly. Also check the switch that controls the outlet to make sure it's turned on. Most built-in dishwashers are wired directly into a circuit. Check the main entrance panel for a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker, and restore the circuit. If your home is an older one, the dishwasher may be wired to a separate entrance panel; look for a blown fuse or breaker at this panel, and restore the circuit.

Step 2: If the circuit is receiving power, and the wall outlet is controlled by a switch, the switch may be faulty. Test the switch with a voltage tester. Take off the switch cover plate and place one probe of the tester on one terminal and the other probe on the other terminal. If the tester bulb lights, the switch is functioning. If it doesn't light, the switch is faulty. Replace the switch with a new one of the same type.
this should be done by appliance technician, but if you have knowledge on this check it out.regads have a nice day, dont forget to rate me thank's
