try to examine that. In most cases the circuit board got faulty. but any examine first the timer switch.

Yea, but that is true . you should test all the parts of the circuit to get the system work.

Wash started cycle. Wife stopped it at beginning of cycle. Now washer will not start at at. Lid switch is good. Will not spin, rinse, restart wash, nothing, not even clicking.

Does unit have a reset button? If it has manual control for cycle did you try going clockwise to the start position and then restarting?

If she stopped the cycle by opening the door perhaps that switch is still stuck in an open position.

My Hoover UltraCare 1500 washing machine keeps repeating the spin cycle, even when I turn the programme control knob to stop

Sounds like the timer control switch is messed up. I had the same thing happen to my washer because my roommate was impatient and tried to spin the timer like the big wheel on the Price is Right. The plastic tabs broke and the timer died.

Hoover AM1100 Washing machine, wont final spin.

The noise, is it a grinding noisy like worn bearings?

put the washer on drain only - is the pump working ok, take the filter out to see if it is turning ok, does that make a strange noise?

If the pump is fine, its back to that noise, it could be be a faulty tacho on the motor ( regulates the spin speed) or motor bearings - has the motor spindle a lot of play on it?
Let me know how you get on and good look!

Our hoover ultra care 1300 large load washing machine spin fault

The most common cause of machines stopping mid cycle is not draining. Your machine should have a filter behind the kick plate at the bottom.
If this is not the case please post back for further assistance.

Timer just spins round

Hi,
yes it is the timer,i had the same thing happened to me on a hoover,i was told that the fault was when you turn the timer to a programme to do this slowly and gently and if you go pass a programme not to turn it back but to go forward again until you get to the right programme..hope this helps.all the best..ps a new timer may cost about £80 to £100.

My Hoover Model Not listed/stops during the cycle

the cycle timer is beginning to sieze because it needs oil. disassemble washer to the point where you can apply small drops of 30W machine oil to the timer's bearings
