Question about Kitchen Ranges
I have a Magic Chef oven mounted in the wall and it just completely went out. I had an electrician come and check it out he said "The oven is getting electricity but the some type of board behind the clock which all the wires hook to has gone out." I wanted to know your opinion.
A complete failure of the oven could be caused by several things. If the unit has a master control, it could be defective or have a burned over connector in that area or any other within the unit. If you are unfamiliar with electric circuits, get a repair person. If you decide to open the unit and do a little eyeball work (with the power off) you may find your answer. Usually, there is visual indication of failures of this kind that are easy to spot.
