Where can I download a free service and/or parts manual for my unidentified machine?

Service manuals are sometimes difficult to find as the manufacturer intended only technicians would have access to them. Sears, however, carries manuals and parts diagrams for many Kenmore machines. However, they may not be free.

Sounds like your machine has suffered from some neglect over time and has seized from lack of oil (possibly the wrong type of oil). Even though you have oiled it, the old oil has most likely dried out in place preventing the parts from moving freely. Pick up a bottle of liquid Tri-Flow Synthetic Oil from the local hardware or bike shop. While slowly hand-rotating the handwheel, apply a couple drops of oil every place that metal rubs on metal (including the selector dials & levers, feed dog mechanism, etc.). Do not oil plastic parts, cams, or belts.

Then, direct hot air from a handheld hairdryer into the internal mechanics of the machine (be careful because the metal will get hot and can burn your fingers). It may taken multiple applications of alternating oil and hairdryer. This method has worked well for many frozen older machines. Just requires patience and elbow grease (or rather Tri-flow :^O ).

My mower will crank but the engine won't turn over and start. This happened after killing the engine hitting an unseen prarie dog hill of hard dirt.

It's possible the engine suffered internal damage when the blade struck the dirt. A sudden impact like that can cause a connecting rod to snap. If you're handy, pull out a spark plug and try to spin the motor over by hand. If you stick a screwdriver into the spark plug hole and it moves up and down (in or out) that cylinder is probably ok. You can do that for all cylinders depending on the engine size. Can you provide any details as to what type of mower, or what engine it has?

Wont turn on

1: Make sure the device is, in fact, charged.
2: Make sure it hasn't suffered damage recently.

If it has been thrown around and not taken care of properly, it's possible that you've damaged the internal workings and need to contact Apple support or talk to them at their Genius bars.

My truck is hard to crank/start...I have replaced all wires and plugs, cleaned all vaccums, replaced o2 sensor, replaced idle-error control valve and the fuel pressure regulator...have taken to several...

The internal check valve inside the fuel pump is bad causing fuel to drain back to the tank. This situation would cause a hard start because the fuel lines are now empty so the pump has to prime the entire system before the engine will start.

Clicking when i turn the key

Clicking instead of starting? The clicking is usually the starter solenoid being pushed out to the flywheel. If your engine isn't turning then it means that either your battery is too weak to turn the engine or your starter has malfunctioned or maybe engine that your engine has locked up.

Recommend you either jump start the car or use a battery charger with the start function to see if it is the battery or starter/engine lock up. If the engine still does not turn over. Take off your serpetine belt and try to rotate your engine with a large socket. If the engine rotated, then it is most likely your starter/solenoid that is bad. If the engine would not rotate by hand then something inside the engine has malfunctioned and it will take some serious work to get it operational again.

Swisher 44" mower starts and runs but engine bogs

The engine in this machine seems to be powerful. If you can remove the belt from the pulley that drives the blade. Try turning the pulley buy hand. If it turns tight or not at all this is your problem. The unit that is the pulley to blade assembly is seized or ready to seize. Sometimes they are designed to be taken apart and repaired, and sometimes they are not. Did you check for a grease fitting within the pulley to blade unit?
I would like to hear how this works out for you. Best of luck.

1999 ford explorer has oil,but the engine acting likes it's locked up

Remove the serpentine belt and try to rotate the engine by hand. Take the spark plugs out and try to rotate the engine by hand. If it has an automatic tranmission disconnect the flexplate bolts and try to rotate the engine by hand. If no no luck the engine is seized somewhere and will need replaced or overhauled.

Engine does not rotate, the ignition is engaged.

IF SURE ENGINE DOESN'T ROTATE IT IS SEIZED OR INTERNALS DAMAGED. LACK OF MAINT,NO OIL,MAYBE JUST STARTER NOT WORKING PROPERLY,JUST BENDIX THROWING OUT AND CAUSING A CLUNK. TRY TAKING OFF BELT AND SPINNING ENGINE BY HAND,MAYBE A/C COMPRESSOR LOCKED UP ON ACCESSORY DRIVE
