You must power cycle your phone and shut off the device you are trying to pair and start over.

SOURCE: bluetooth link busy

Try it with another BT and see if still shows the same.....if it does, then you might need to reset your phone....refer to user manual on how to reset phone. And if it worked fine with another BT device, then you might want to exchange/repair the jawbone....try this first, drain the battery completely from the jawbone, then recharge it and try to connect after charging..

Best of luck....

I am on able to pair my 220plantronic head set it is asking for password I tried 0000 and 1234 it did not work.

The pass code for the Plantronics bluetooth headsets have been 0000 (four zeros) for as long as I can remember. Make sure there is no interference from another bluetooth device and follow these instructions with the attached link for the Plantronics Explorer 220.

Here is the link for the instructions for the Plantronics Explorer 220.

Good luck from Headsets Direct!

I keep getting the message "Bluetooth linke is busy". What does that mean?

When you get a message like that on any cellular device, smartphone or iPhone...its because your bluetooth device is experiencing errors internally, or either your bluetooth device is connected presently with another device and keep in mind that bluetooth can only connect to one device at a time; meaning that if your bluetooth device is connected presently to any other device, that connection should be terminated in order for bluetooth to be able to search and connect to a new device!

Before you take any of these steps make sure that you have your Bluetooth settings in your phone are set secure; make sure that if any device is trying to connect, would get your attention ( any connection attempted will be prompted on your phones screen) by doing so you will not have outsiders connection to your phone without your permission!

Solution = Turn off your cellular device, and turn it on again! If you're able to remove the battery and placing it again please do so but however some devices like iphones, batteries can not be accessed! ( with such devices, using the Power On/Off botton is good enough to reset the device ).
Power off your Bluetooth headset! ( Do not turn on your device yet)

make sure your bluetooth settings in your phone is not set to automatically connect to any other bluetooth enabled device!

after your phones reset, turn on the headset using the middle botton wich is the round botton, and hold until you get a solid light and make sure BLUETOOTH IS ENABLED AND DISCOVARABLE!

if that doesn't work, hollar at me!

Iphone and headsets

Yes, you can pair your iPhone with any bluetooth headset. I have used many different Plantronics headsets and all have worked perfectly.
On the iPhone, go to Settings (the gears icon), click GENERAL, then Bluetooth and make sure it's switched to "On". Then, follow the pairing instructions that come with the headset.

If you have a bluetooth headset, make sure you switch your headset of completely as it occupies your bluetooth link even if your not currently engaged in a call, then if that doesnt work turn your phone off and on and that should do the trick
