F3 E4 Err

I am seeing: F3 E4 bottom sensor open. What do I do?

I took all of the back panels off. I don't see any wording at all regarding P3, for instance. BTW: There was a 2 second power outage just before all of this happened.

Thank you for your efforts and comments. We unplugged it, waited for 15 seconds, and then plugged it back in. The error code went away. The oven now works correctly. Thank you again for your time. I will keep these comments for further reference.

Although i looked up by model number and couldn't find any "lower"sensor, the tech sheet does does list it as an open lower sensor, and here's an abbreviated portion of their repair, which ultimately leads to replacing the lower thermistor that i can seem to locate

Open the back panels and make sure the indicated temperature sensor is plugged in.
Check connector P3 on the power board. Make sure it is plugged in and fully seated.
If it is not, make the proper connection
Visually inspect the wires between P3 on the power board and the indicated temperature sensor. Make sure the wires are not cut or pinched. For the following sensors, the resistance value
should read:
Lower Oven Sensor Between 931 and 2869 ω.
(Approx. 1080 ω at room temp).
replace lower thermistor

the "p3" was referring to a point on the circuit board, which on this machine is all but assessable, the sensor that it refers to as being bad is the electronic thermistor/temp sensor. located in oven cavity(top left corner sticking out maybe 3-4 inches.heres the part number i you wanna try replacing that b-4 calling a service guy 4455636. 2 screws and a plug

Frigidaire oven FSC88B-4 shows "Err F3 " message. What to do?

F3 - Open/shorted sensor (RTD probe) connection.
Check the temperature sensor and the wires and plugs between the sensor and the EOC are good, replace the temperature sensor (RTD probe). If the sensor and wiring are good, the EOC would need to be replaced.

Fault code E4 F3

The F3 codes mean that the oven temperature sensor has a problem. In the case of the E4 error, it is an open circuit. (If the GR465XLS0 is a double oven model, it's the lower oven with the problem with the sensor.)

You need to replace the sensor. Unfortunately, I'm not sure that you have provided the correct model number. Most Whirlpool ovens have an extra character in the model number. If your model is the GR465LXLS0, the temperature sensor will cost ~$65. One source is http://www.appliancepartspros.com/Appliance-Parts/whirlpool-oven-sensor-assembly-item-number-ap4326911.aspx .

I hope this helps.

Oven control lock beeping along with F3:E4 flashing on the display

Hi-- The code described; F3 E4  indicates an open circuit- oven sensor.  As far as oven problems go this one is easy to fix. -------Unplug sensor and check resistance. Normal is around 1100ohms. ---If open, then replace with new part.  <This will solve the problem>.  You did not provide any other information besides 'beeping' and 'F3:E4'.  A simple Model # from the tag on unit is required for any service or information.  However, since this is a specific fault code, the oven temperature sensor is the most likely suspect. Please acknowledge this post. Solution is to replace the oven temperature sensor.  Thanks-  Ed

F3 code

F3 E0 5 Top oven sensor open Check for open circuit. Sensor resistance should be 1K to 1.1K @ room temperature. If not, replace the sensor. F3 E1 6 Top oven shorted Check for shorted sensor circuit, otherwise replace sensor F3 E2 9 Bake range over temperature At room temperature, sensor resistance should be 1K to 1.1K. If not, replace the sensor. If the sensor checks okay, replace the control. F3 E3 8 Clean range over temperature At room temperature, sensor resistance should be 1K to 1.1K. If not, replace the sensor. If the sensor checks okay, replace the control. F3 E4 10 Bottom oven sensor open Check for open circuit. Sensor resistance should be 1K to 1.1K @ room temperature. If not, replace the sensor. F3 E5 15 Bottom oven sensor shorted Check for shorted sensor circuit, otherwise replace senso

Oven turning off

F3 - E4 Oven temperature sensor (RTD) opened (lower oven, if double oven). You will have to replace this failed sensor to restore normal operations. If your oven is a double version, it will be located in the lower part. If its a single range, it will be located in the oven compartment. The Oven Temperature Sensor has failed.

Please rate and god bless:)
