I have lost Ezonics web cam IV driver CD and unable to find driver on the net unable to find them, kindly help to instal my web cam on my system using win - XP OS EZONICS USB CAMERA, M/N : CAM IV

I have found a link to the driver file for CAM IV. Click here for the download.

The download is a 16 MB zip file. Extract it contents on the desktop. There will be two files: CamIVxp.zip and driver updater. Delete driver updater and extract CamIVxp. Double click on Setup and wait for it to install the drivers. Connect your cam after the install completes.

If you are using Vista, and the setup does not run, try compatibility mode and remember that setup can only be run after the files are extracted and cannot be run from within the zip file.

Camera works on Windows XP but i have Vista

You would need to download and install the Windows Vista driver from the webcam manufacturers website. You should be able to find it by clicking on the support link and looking up your specific model #. Hope this helps.

check the manufacturers website, and see if they have updated software for Vista, otherwise you can either not use the camera or forcefully downgrade the computer to XP

My usb cable is saying it is not recognized to windows when I plug my digital camera in to download pics. I recently bought a gateway with vista. it worked when I had XP. the camera techs say it is in the...

the camera tech may be right.

vista has new requirements and specially with drivers from camcorders,cameras...and everything else that requires you to install specific programs and drivers for that to run on a vista.

what you should do is check with your cameras website if they have one, and see if they have new drivers or software that is compatible with windows vsta.

you shouldnt have any problems doing this with XP, but with Vista, thats something else..

Gday I just bought a digital camera but it runs only on Microsoft XP, 98 2nd, ME and 2000 os's, I have Vista Home Basic and I can't find a driver for it. Can you help?

vista is supposed to find the apppropiate driver when you plug in the camera, if it did not work, you can then use applications like Picasa, from google to download and transfer images from your camera.

Camera and scanner no longer recognised

On Windows 2000, XP, and Vista, you can get to Device Manager by right clicking on your desktop's "My Computer" (or "Computer" for Vista) and select "Properties". Then click the "Hardware" tab. Then click the "Device Manager" button (Vista may be slightly different).

As for why they are recognized on your friend's laptop but not yours, it's going to depend on what operating systems both are running and what the brand/models of the camera and scanner are. If there are drivers required to run the camera and scanner, try uninstalling and reinstalling them.
