Printer prints blue only (by 2 users)

My four year old Epson prints blue (and black ?) only. All ink levels are 40-50%. Repeated nozzle cleanings don't help. Will investing in new cartridges help ? Or is it time for a new machine ? Are you allowed to recommend makes and models ?

Yeah, I trashed mine and was able to buy a HP for $50.

I am having the same problem and i also bought new ink cartridges which didnt solve the problem.

I have the same problem; however, I did buy new cartridges and had the same problem.

I tried contacting Epson; no help except they want me to buy a new one.
