My Sansa Fuze stops and starts songs repeatedly during play mode, the icon still says the song is playing but no matter what I do it stops and starts on it's own

Could it be that the intro-play setting in on. I've noticed that once they intro-play setting it on, it starts the song and stops, then plays another one.

The songs are in the wrong format or do not have sufficient play rights. Redownload the song in mp3 format and try again.

Only hear out of one side of headphones with sansa player - tried 5 pairs...

i had the same problem, the headphone jack on the sansa is loose. I opened it all up, and saw that one of the connections on the headphone jack was loose. you can sauter it and it should work clearly again.

Hi, my sansa e250 has sound come out of only one head phone no matter how many headphones i try the same happens

The jack in the e250s is not made of adamantium, so it can actually go bad; however, if you try different headphones and thus determine that either:
  - All the headphones simultaneously went bad in one side
  - Your left ear has issues
  - The Sansa is only cranking out one channel; and
-the jack feels a little off, or
-perfectly good mp3s are being played off-balance; AND the balance has not been misconfigured in Settings.

...well then, the plot's moving forward and you can get your ear fixed, or stop the cat from killing your headphones, or re-load Sansa or Rockbox.org firmware, or fix the Settings, or see to the appropriate repair to the jack (depending on your warrantee status and skill with soldering irons and ordering off Jameco.com etc.)

There are some songs that won't play

Just delete those songs and then put them back on. They can become corrupt when they go on the sansa

Computer does not show MP3 player as connected and how to stop a song playing

If you installed the firmware update, you might have forgotten to change the device to MSC mode.. try going to settings>USB mode>MSC This should probably work.. to stop a song while its playing, click the |<< button while you have the screen with the current song. (you can pause a song on this same screen with the >|| button) If you have gone back to any of the menu screens, wait for a couple seconds and the player will automatically go back tot he song display screen so you can stop the song.
