My phone has come up with a meassage which says the application htc sense(process com.htc.luncher has stopped unexpectedly. please try again. and ican not get to the main menu

un install and re install. and you should be good

Welcome to Fixya. To fix the issue you need to reset the phone to its factory settings

To reset the phone using buttons:

With the phone turned off, press and hold down the volume down and send buttons, then press the end/power button.

You will see 3 Android images at the bottom of the screen.

Follow the instructions onscreen to reset your phone.

Tip: If your phone hangs or freezes, remove the battery then wait for a few seconds, and then re-install it. After re-installing the battery, turn on the phone.

if you have installed a rom, or rooted your phone, it may not work, there is nothing to be done.

have you tried calling your voicemail directly and not through an app?

You probably gotta simply updated your phone at the htc website.

This is the main OS force closing itself, if you can do it the only way to resolve is a master reset. You can do this by:

1. Power handset 'Off'.
   

2. Remove the Data Card, if applicable.
   

3. Press and hold Back and Home keys.
   

4. While still holding Back and Home keys, press power button.
   

5. Click the MENU key to reset.

please try to reset its because of the software corruption it usually happens in Htc models...
1.Phone turned off, press and hold the HOME and BACK buttons, and then briefly press the END CALL/POWER button. The reset process will start after a few seconds.
2. Wait for the phone to finish the reset process and then press MENU.

if it does not solve upgrade to latest firmware

All i did was take out my SD card and wait 15 seconds then put it back in the phone. I did not see the process com.htc.launcher error anymore.
