My Honeywell 7-Day Programmable Push-Button Thermostat - RTH7500D starts to heat each morning at 5:00 AM. It is not programmed to do anything at 5:00AM. A/C works fine. Want to turn off 5:00 AM

See if there is some sort of reset control. U may not have programmed it but I assure you it is programmed to do so. Maybe some poltergeist is responsible for the anomaly.

If after doing everything possible to take care of the issue with no results you can always resort to opening the unit up, exposing the wires, and disconnecting the wire responsible for heat. Your user/ setup manual will identify the wire.

How come my aube TH141HC-28-B/U thermostat screen went blank and no heat anymore to my heater?

According to the user manual, if the display battery goes dead, it will shut down the heater unit. Take a look at this user manual:

I have A LCD Honeywell thermostat that has a display that is blank. also it is not sending anything to my furnace. there for my main level in my house is very cold. I have the same one up stairs and it is...

Replace the batteries first. Some cheap thermostats require the batteries to function. I don't know of a honeywell model that does though. Its cheap, so do that first.

If still nothing comes on and you still have a blank display with new batteries, I'd say probably the thermostat is defective. Even if the furnace is broken, new batteries SHOULD bring up the display.

Operating manual honeywell rth2310

Honeywell has the manual for the RTH2310 programmable thermostat on the product page: http://yourhome.honeywell.com/home/Products/Thermostats/5-2-Day-Programmable/RTH2310B.htm . The direct link to the English/French version of the operating manual is http://customer.honeywell.com/techlit/pdf/PackedLit/69-2229EF.pdf .

I hope this helps.

Ac unit continues to run for as long as up to 45 minutes after it reaches set point. why? thermostat functions properly periodicaly. thermostat is about 15 months old. was installed at same as new heat...

this can be caused by several issues (1) Configuration program, this is not the program that you the end user set up for time of day programing. Nor set point. but how the T-stat is set up to operate for your particular system, A dead band change my be necessary.in most programable T-stats the system must get temp 1 degree below set point before the system will shut down (2) A relay can be sticking in the condenser unit keeping the compressor on when there is not a call for cooling. for this a good working knoledge of electricity is a must although the t-stat opeates on 24 volts there is high voltage in close proxcimity of control relays ranging from 120 too 240 volts (3) dust on the temp sensor can also be an issue dust act as an insulator not allowing the sensor too sense the Temp properly. (4) or that T-stat can and possibly has failed Electronic T-stat are suseptable too power surges although this is not a frequent occurance it is possible. I would reccomend having your local HVAC contractor check into this. depending on you Mechanical skill

We purchased a manufactured home a year ago. We did not receive a owners manuel for our Intertherm heat system. Could you help us? Also, we need to know if the filter can be replaced by any type of filter...

You would first need to know what kind of unit you want the owners manual for,if you dont know exactly you need to find out the model # that # would be able to be tracked by any a/c service mech. and they should be able to tell you the size and so on.the model/serial # should be on the inside units panel if not take the front panel off and look around for a metal tag near the wiring area.Once you know what kind of unit you have go to http://www.nordyne.com/Literature/MHCatalg.htm
you should be able to get a owners manual from these guys,or if you just get me the name i can get it for you, this site has alot of info on your tyeps of a/c and heating units.ONE THING DONT BE ALARMED YOUR UNIT IS ACTUALLY MANUFACTURED BY A COMPANY CALLED NORDYNE !! this is still a good unit just a little lower model type than a named brand like rheem/rudd trane,or carrier. It also has a pretty good warranty, so check out that site.
As far as your filter no you dont need a special one,it just depends on your preference.I usually suggest to the average person to use a reusable/washable filter.Go to home depo, menards or any hardware type store and ask for a hogs hair washable filter. they only come in one size about 30x20x2 and there blue, cost between $6.00 to $10.00 you use a sissor and cut it to your existing size filter and when it needs cleane approx. 1 mnth or every other you just hose it down.I HAVE HAD THE SAME FILTER IN MY UNIT FOR 3 YEARS NOW AND ITS STILL IN GOOD SHAPE.I HOPE THIS HELPS ANY QUESTION WRITE BACK
