How to program Cuisinart to grind or brew?

To Program Automatic Brew
1. Make sure clock is set for correct
time of day.
2. Press PROG button and digits will
flash.
3. Press H and M buttons until desired
brewing time is reached.
4. Press PROG button to confirm setting.
Digits will stop flashing and
return to set time of day.
5. Once brewing time has been set,
follow this procedure:
• Follow steps in "How to Make
Coffee."
• Push AUTO-ON-OFF button once
and "Auto" will be shown in display
indicating the brew cycle will begin
at the set time.
NOTE: If AUTO-ON-OFF is pushed
twice, the light will glow and brewing
will begin immediately. Press AUTOON-
OFF once to turn off and once
more to set programming mode.

Setting Auto Off (units with timer only)
On models with a glass carafe, the auto off can be set to shut the coffee machine off from 1 - 5
hours after the brew cycle is complete. The factory setting is 2 hours. On models with a thermal
carafe, the coffee machine shuts off after 20 minutes.
Note : On models without a timer the coffee machine must be turned off manually. It
will not automatically shut off.
• Press the prog button (o), immediately followed by the h/min button (n).
• The display will show the time setting.
• Press the h/min button in steps to set the auto off time.
• Press the prog button to confirm the setting.

For most Grind and Brew's, you can press the PROG button or turn the dial to PROG, then press the HRS button to change the hour and minute to change the time. The led will display PM if it is set for PM, but will not display AM if it is set for AM. After you have finished programming, press the PROG button. Now activate the AUTO-ON button or slide the dial to the Auto-On position.
