Not sure I understand your question, but I have recorded off of my Dishnetwork receiver to my VCR. My DVD "player" is wired to my TV.

Can you tell me the 3 digit nunber to make my dvd/vcr compatable with dish network tv?

We would be happy to help you with getting your DISH Networkremote to control your Sanyo DVD/VCR combo unit. Pressand hold the VCR/DVD button located on the top of your remote until all mode buttonback lights come on, then release. Use the number buttons to enter thecodes for your Sanyo DVD/VCR combo unit; here some of the codes we currently have: 549, 583, and 608. Press the pound (#) button. To check that the codeworks try several different functions on the remote to make sure it willproperly operate the TV. Keep in mind that some codes may not be compatiblewith your equipment. If this is the case, try the other codes listed for thatdevice until you find one that is compatible with your equipment.
If you were not able to get your DISH remote to work with it with the codes provided, try a power scan. Pressand hold the VCR/DVD button located on the top of your remote until all mode buttonback lights come on, then release. Press and release the power button. Press the Up button once a second while pointing the VCR/DVD combo unit. If the code for the equipment comes up, it will power off. Press the pound (#) button.
We hope this help and thank you for being a valued DISH Network customer!

I have Dish Network and I can't find a Code for my LG RC797T so I can get it to play

I'm assuming you are referring to using the dish network remote to control your DVD/VCR unit. Use the instructions in your Dish Network manual, mine is on page 61, "Setting up using device code tables". Refer to the table of device codes in the back of the dish manual, pg 119, to look up your manufacturer. I used the DVD codes for LG as LG wasn't listed on DVD/VCR combo codes. Try each one until one works. I have the LG RC797T and the third code worked 824. Good luck!

Connect a Dish VIP622 to a DVD/VCR

Hi piautewith the VIP622 receiver connecting to your DVD/VCR player you will need theinput/output jacks. To setup recordings to your VCR/DVD player, you will want torun from receiver output to VCR/DVD input and from VCR/DVD output to TV input. Thefan on the VIP622 receiver is just like the fan in a computer tower. Even ifthe receiver is off the fan will still run to keep unit the right temperature foryour DVR receiver. How to program my DISH Network remote to my DVD player?

It's kind of silly but I just pushed the VCR mode button, pressed the power on and off mode button & pressed the up button until the remote found the code. Took awhile but it finally worked.

Dish network

With the dish remote and do a code search as described in the remote manual and see if you can find it that way. If you go through the entire code search and none of them turn off the VCR/DVD combo, then there is nothing you can do, as those codes in the remote are all stored in the remote and they cannot be programed in. If you do not have a remote manual to set up the remote, to do a code search, simply go to the dishnetwork web site and search for it.
