if its a Kenmore model then this message says that the button control board has lost sight of the main control board , but its been my experience that this maybe able to be reset and it may never come back or it will not reset and the control board will need replaced (50/50)

the fault is likely to be in the roller catch mechanism. Hotpoint have modified these. Part Number is C00257618.

It includes both door latch and catch.
