after installing my lg laptop, i somehow lost the product key and i need the key to recover the original windows xp operating sytem cos the one i bought across the counter at a shop failed the validation test

- I am needing to format my laptop. and i have the recovery disc top do this, but i have lost my product key, it keeps telling me i can find it on the certificate of authenticity but i have no idea what that is, I certainly wasnt given a cert with my laptop.I have noticed that a few people have said it can be found on the bottom of the laptop. dont have it with me at work but will i find it there? - Guest
