BIOS passwords can be reset in two ways:

1. using software 2. using hardware.

I would first try resetting using software, here are two software apps to reset or retrieve BIOS passwords.

go to biosremoval.com they can help, works for me every time.
my laptop had bios password hard drive password and windows password. which was unlocked using bios removal services from biosremoval.com

Try to go into the safe mode I think it is F12 Key. Just try all the F keys until you find one that will let you in

there is no default password for that you will need to open up the laptop and remove the cmos battery inside to bring the bios back to its factory settings (without password). sometimes tho dell will add password , dell , or admin as a password. but thats usually for laptops and pcs they sell in bulk to businesses

Try to locate the BIOS battery compartment and disconnect the small battery for about an hour. - This will reset the BIOS to its' default mode and remove the password.

1. Reboot the computer
2. Right after the bios is finished, hit F8 (or F2,10,12)
3. Select ‘Safe mode’ or ‘Safe mode with networking support’
4. Windows will boot up to the logon screen. Click administrator
5. Do, Start->Run->type ‘command’
6. To reset the password type ‘net user username *’ where username is the username you want to reset.
7. For no password, leave blank.
8. Now, reboot and you can login as that user.
