Question about ASUS K8N4-E Deluxe Motherboard

Will you be available to troubleshoot this in a about say 2-3 hours? I have been working on it most of the day, with no satisfactory results, and need to run an errand.

    Hey Buddy,

    Anyone sorted this Out for you Yet ??

    It is a possibility that your sata drives Kapput.

    Move it to another connector if possible, Or go with my initial solution, and try an IDE Hard-drive if the Board supports It.

    If the SATAs not being recognised in Bios then thats your problem, another option is to get a floppy drive, and use windows 98 bootdisk to format the drive, then go from there.

    You,ll get there buddy, and you can always look out of the window and smile at the sunshine, it,s miserable in The UK.

It sounds like a power supply problem not the mother board, you have some bad electrolytic caps in the power supply that need to be change, or just replace the power supply.

look up CPUZ and install it . Run it. It will tell you what kind of ram you are using. Then do a search of that type of ram. Hope this helps

Try this

Open Printers and Faxes from the Start Menu (or from Control Panel)
Right click on the PS282 device and select 'Properties' from the popup menu
Select 'Advanced' tab
Make sure 'Always Available' is selected NOT 'Available From' ...
