Can all PENTAX 35mm interchangeable lenses be used with the K100D?
Yes, however there are restrictions when using lenses other than DA, D FA, FA, FA J series lenses. When using D FA or FA lenses the aperture ring must be set to the A (auto) position. A-series lenses are manual focus only. Lenses without the A (auto position) require the user to set the custom function to use non-A position lens. These lenses also lack the contacts to make full use of the 16 segment metering system.

Can PENTAX 645 lenses, 67 lenses and S (Screw mount) lenses be used with K100D?
PENTAX 645, 67-system lenses and S (Screw mount) type of lenses may be used with an adapter, though some functions may not be available with certain lenses.

Can non-PENTAX interchangeable lens be used?
Not recommended, we assume no responsibility or liability for damage resulting from the use of lenses made by other manufactures.

Does a sigma 70-300 lens work on a canon 400d

Sigma makes lenses with a variety of mounts to fit a variety of cameras. A lens with a Pentax mount, for example, will not fit a Canon camera. Assuming you get a lens with a Canon mount then yes, it will work on your Canon.

I have a pentax slr film camera and i want to know ii the lens will work on a Nikon dlsr digital camera

No. Nikon has been using the same lens mount since about 1959. Pentax has changed their mount once since then, but not to the same thing.

I have been offered a SiGMA 400mm F/5.6 manual lens for a minolta mount. Will it fit my camera? Cheers Pete

Minolta had two lens mounts. One for manual focus SLR film cameras and one for Auto Focus SLR Maxxum film and digital SLR cameras. Sony uses Minolta Maxxum lens mount.
If the Sigma 400 f5.6 lens was made for Minolta X-700 series, XG, series, XD series, SRT series, then it will not fit on your camera.

How to mount Minolta AF 28-80/3.5-5.6 on pentax

Unfortunately, it is not possible to mount Minolta lenses on a Pentax K mount camera and retain either auto-focus, metering, or the ability to focus at infinity.
The reason for the loss of the ability to focus at infinity is because the distance from the mount to where the image forms on a Minolat lens is 43mm, whereas on a Pentax it is 46mm, so the Minolta lens glass would need to be 2mm into the body of the Pentax camera in order for the image to form on the sensor (i.e. have a clear image that is in focus).
The only solution to this is to purchase an adapter with an optical element such as this: http://photo-adapter-llc.amazonwebstore.com/Zykkor-Minolta-MD-Lens-to-Pentax/M/B004PB8142.htm?traffic_src=froogle&utm_medium=CSE&utm_source=froogle This will allow you to focus at infinity, however you will have to use stop down metering and manual focus, as the electrical contacts will not connect. Also, you can expect a slight loss of image quality when using an adapter.
I personally have a few Minolta lenses that I have wanted to use on my Pentax, so I understand your pain. It is a shame they don't work better.
Thank you for using FixYa!

If your Sigma lens has a Pentax mount and worked on your 100D, it will work on your KX.

Pentax K110D and Sigma 17-35mm F2.8-4 EX DG

The Penta K110D has a 1.5X crop factor so a 17mm lense would be the equivalent to 25.5mm (in 35mm standard), therefore may not give you a 103 angle view. You would not really notice that much difference between 17 and 18mm.

How can I rewind film in a Pentax Zoom 60-X camera

I used to use point and shoot film cameras. My guess is that there is a button underneath which when you depress will automatically rewind the film. Sometimes the button is very small that you may need a ballpen point to press it. Hope this helps cuz i have no idea what the Pentax Zoom looks like. I am guess it is a point an shoot type and not an SLR. If it is a point and shoot type, you must be sure the battery has power or else it won't rewind.

Pentax K10D won't work with lens from Pentax K100 (film0

The lenses are probably manual focus lenses,
  1. Make sure that the apature ring is set to 'A' or automatic,
  2. if these are manual focus lenses then switch the focus switch on the left side of the camera body to MF
  3. If this still doesn't work, or you are having trouble with the apature ring then press the menu button to go to the  menu then press the right arrow key untill you are in the  Custom Settings, scroll through the custom settings with the up and down arrow keys until about the 2nd from bottom there is an option called "using aperture ring" set this to 2 (Permitted) This will make the camera take a image when lens is on any f-stop manually.
Try this and everything should work fine. If all this hasn't worked then try seting the mode dial on the camera to M manual mode. Cheers
