My ipod has come up that it is disable connect to itunes, but when i do it is asking for passcode but it wont let me do anything like put my passcode in.

Your iPod might have frozen.
Step 1: Hold your iPod like how you would hold an iPhone.
Step 2: Locate a button at the top of your device, this is your lock button.
Step 3: Locate a button on the face of your iPod, this is called the home button.
Step 4: Press and hold BOTH buttons for a minute and you will see a slider appear at the top of the screen. Drag your finger across it to let it turn off.
Step 5: After waiting for it to turn off - the screen will be blank and not lit, press and hold your lock button for a few seconds and the Apple logo will appear. Give it a minute and your iPod should now be back to normal.
Note: If this does not solve the issue, you have one of three choices:
  1. If you bought your device less than a year ago, you might be able to get a free replacement from Apple at an Apple Store on the spot - it is most likely part of the included one year warranty.
  2. Go to the Apple Store and pay a fee to fix it.
  3. Go to the Apple Store with your iPod, and buy a new one for a 10% discount.

My ipod wont do anything

If your can turn the iPod ON but it won't do anything, then the problem is program. It could have a corrupted program.

If the iPod won't turn ON completely, then it has something to do with the battery or loose wiring connection.

These problems could be resolved best the an Apple Tech, so I would advise you to bring it to the Apple and have them repair it for you.

My ipod nano 4th generation wont unlock

Reconnect your iPod to the Primary Computer where you set up the iPod originally. This will unlock the iPod and allow you to change the lock code.

My iPod touch will not work

Generally, the recommendation for this issue is to open up the Control Panel and go into Programs & Features. Remove ONLY Apple Mobile Device Support and iTunes. Restart the computer, then download a NEW copy of the iTunes installer from http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and complete the installation.

Ipod has froze

have you guys tried a reset?

To reset your iPod:

  • 1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
  • 2. Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.
