Question about Canon XL1S Mini DV Digital Camcorder
Just started a job that uses a Canon XL1s. When I turn it on the red tape icon with a slash keeps flashing and just to the left and below the battery is another flashing icon that I can't make out. Below that in flashing white letters is the message "DV IF."
I tried to run a head cleaner cassette, but the camera won't do anything. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
To get rid of the DV IF flashing go to >menu>systems>DV control ...OFF. (page 63 in the instruction manual)
