Screen is blurred with horizontal lines when 1st turned on. Goes away after 15 mins. Also black cloud appears on screen....moves around then disappears after a few mins. What is going bad?

The fault should be with its supply voltage to video output section circuit. Check this voltage. Check the smoothing capacitor used there. The video output card stage, can be located at the back [neck] of the picture tube, will directly plugged on to it; and can be pulled back out gently. Take care. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Check this link for more details. Pull up older posts.

Screenplay 5700one horizontal line across entire screen, comes on

this could be the main board or the dmd board on the light engine. you can try disconnecting, cleaning the connections with an approved board cleaner, blow the connections completely dry and then reseat the connections firmly. This has worked many times for me. If the problem still persists you will have to have the projector tested to find out what needs to be replaced.

Picture goes away on my DLP TV

that is an overheating problem. With the TV unpluged clean and or vacuum the internal tubes. Not the lamp though. Do not touch the lamp as any oils on your hands will cause a hot spot and the expensive lamp will fail.

Laserjet-5 horizontal black lines 1.5 inches

This is usually due to the developer kit.
Try replacing it and see if the problem goes away.

Good luck!

Flickers on cold startup after 5 min then goes away in 2-3 min.

I had same problem. Tech's said the power was noisy. I cleaned up the power but the TV still did exactly as you describe. Problem will progressively get worse with longer bouts of flickering. I was under warrenty and sent the TV back. After 3 months I am still waiting for a repalcement.
