Question about Alpine 3DA-W882
I just bought a ai-net - rca - rca - 3.5mm jack cable and plugged it into the back of my 3da w882 alpine head unit and now don't know how to get the head unit to recognize and play the music from my cd player through the ai-net cable. please advise. firstname.lastname@example.org

Your alpine unit is the old "M-BUS" the other adapter you are talking about is an "AI-BUS" adapter. (Hence the model numbers beginning with CD"M" or CD"A" ...)
Look for an Alpine M-Bus to RCA Input adapter.
heres one on eay for less than 10.00 including shipping.
