Ring tone

I have a samsung camara cell phone. When you flip it open, it has a tone and when you close it, it also has a tone.
I cannot shut this feature off and just have it ring when someone calls. The only way to not have this tone is to put the phone on mute. HELP. How do I get rid on the ring tone altogether when I open and close my phone!! Thanks, From, Ready to get rid of the cell phone in NY
