Question about Minolta 2430DL Color Laser Printer
I'm a tech for the some of the boys and girls clubs of norhttowns in and around buffalo, ny. I have a couple of 2430dl printer in some of the clubs. My problem is i order a drum unit for 1 of my clubs and installed it just fine. But that printer completely broke within a couple of days. so i took the drum unit out of there and installed it into another 2430dl that had a low drum unit displayed on it. when i replaced it with the one from the other printer that broke, i still get the "low drum unit" on the display. do i have to reset something? this drum unit only was used for about 10 copies of paper before this printer broke. can you email me at email@example.com with the solution?
There is only a manual reset for the toners but I'm sure you already knew that... The drum is just a plug-n-play type consumable and should just reset automatically unless it's an old drum... ( make sure that you didnt make the mistake like so many of us a reput the old drum back in again) if your sure its the new one then it's obviously defective and depending on where you got it you should be able to defect it out for credit... hope this helps... www.bigmoneycentral.com
