Agitator in our Whilrpool Washer

Agitator in our Whilrpool Washer Model # GST 9344EQo bought on 9/28/98 does not rotate. This unit had a pump replacement on 2/13/04. It is time for this unit to be replaced or would it be cost effective to get it fixed?

hi you want find out if the belt has come off or wether the main drum bearings have gone,if it's the bearings then i would replace the machine
