Question about Epson - PowerLite S1+ Multimedia Projector

1 Answer

No image My projector is hooked up to a docucam only.  After being unplugged once it fails to recognize the signal.  All power/cables were disconnected and reconnected.  Still no signal.  I read the manual and looked at the dip switch, how should that look?  What else can I do?

1-SWITCH YOUR PROJECTOR OFF.
2-CONNECT EVERYTHING AS NORMAL CONNECTION.
3-SWITCH DOCUCAMERA ON.
4-SWITCH YOUR PROJECTOR ON.
5-CONFIRM THAT INPUT OF PROJECTOR IN RIGHT INPUT TO CAMERA.
6- CONFIRM THAT CAMERA CABLE IS GOOD BY PLUGING IT IN VIDEO INPUT OF ANY TV.

Projector Purple Ghosting

aperently it has to do with converting the analogue signal to digital or the other way around..rca is the cable type..the signal is what you are having issues with..you may need a converter..it may also require going into the setup menu of the tv and make it recognize the signal..

Unable to play live tv from lap top to projector

Is it just the live tv or the laptop in general you are not getting a signal from? Using 15 pin VGA cable correct from laptop to projector?
When booted to projector, on laptop, select "FN" key and either F5, F7 or F8 depending on your laptop. Look for the monitor logo on the F keys. This is telling the computer that you have hooked up an additional external monitor (the projector). Once will send image to projector, twice will display on both, a third time will return to just image on laptop.

If you are connecting to a laptop then you may need to hold the function button down and press F1, F2, F3 etc. there should be a sign with the latop on there and a sign with an external device (monitor,PROJECOR)
hope this information was useful to you.

Hy, having problem with to conect projektor to the computer Anybody can help

The projector should have a cable similar to the monitor cable that would normally be hooked into the computer. The cables work the same and the one coming from the projector will use the same port as the normal monitor cable. Make sure that there is a good connection on both ends -sometimes one or the other get moved and the connection is lost.

Once the cables are hooked up, the projector should be turned on. Normally the projector will soon begin a startup routine and will cause an image to be shown on the screen. You can focus the image during that time.

After the image goes away you should be able to display whatever you want from your computer's software.

Normal problems in doing this are: leaving the lens cap on the projector, having a burned out bulb - once the power is turned on for the projector, it should cause the bulb to come on. Some models have a power on switch and a display on switch that must both be pushed to make the bulb light up.

Hope this helps.

Projector Image Problem

Hi There

Your Projector switches to a 16:9 ratio when hooked up to a Video signal and to a 4:3 Ration when hooked up to a PC signal.

You can manually change this in the Menu functions if this bothers you.

Simply go to Aspect Ratio in your Menu's subfolders and press left or right once you scrolled down to it.
