It appears that all "F" error codes need a dealer service. The old standby is to unplug it and wait 30 minutes before plugging it in but don't get your hopes up.

The start/stop button was pressed without connecting the foot controller while the setting for adjusting the stitch width using the sewing speed controller is set to [ON].
You have selected a pattern for which width control cannot be used.

How can I tighten the bobbin tension?

try adjusting the top thread tension

Skipped stitches
1. The needle is not inserted correctly
Remove needle & reinsert needle( flat side towards the back of machine)
2. The needle is damaged
replace with new needle
3. The wrong size needle is being used
Choose a needle to suit the thread & fabric
4. The foot not attached correctly
Check & attach correctly

Sounds like the bobbin case tension is not properly adjusted. Try turnibg the adjusting screw about 1/2 to a full turn clockwise and see if it is better.
