The specific instructions are in the manual that came with the car, there is a code required, if you dont have the manuals or the code, a chevy dealer can look it up on the service computer for you,. assuming they are nice people ! they might even do it for you.

I got a Bose wave remote but there's no instruction how to program it to the radio or how to open it for the battery and what kind ot battery it takesn

For programming the radio station settings, hold down a numbered button on the remote for several seconds after you have tuned to the desired station. For setting the time or alarm, use a similar approach, hold the individual button down long enough for the radio to change mode to setting mode. When you are done making a setting, you can wait a few moments and the radio will then return to its regular operating mode. As for the battery, there is a small sliding door on the bottom of the remote that contains a small replaceable disc battery, be sure to get the polarity right.

How do i change the memory back up battery?

Hello

You can replace the battery without loosing its memory. Follow these instructions. Battery must be changed as fast as you can. So read well and they do the work.

o Bose radio uses a standard nine-volt battery that serves as a backup for the memory and alarm when it's unplugged or when the power is off. It will power these functions for up to three days. Using the radio without the battery won't damage it, but the memory won't be backed up. The battery does not provide enough power for normal operation, including the lighted display.

To install a battery, turn the radio over. Push on the arrow on the battery chamber cover and move it aside. Match the terminals on the battery with their opposites inside the chamber, and push the battery securely into place. Close the cover and return the radio to an upright position.

Connect the power cord to the jack on the back of the radio. The flat side of the connector must line up with the flat side of the jack. Since the power cord contains the FM antenna, uncoil the cord for the best reception. Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.

An FM cable connector is on the back of the radio. Contact your cable company for help in setting up your connection. When you set it up, be sure to use a splitter that separates the FM signal from the TV signal so that the TV signal won't be transmitted to your radio.

If your remote is slotted on the back, press the tip of a pen into the opening and push the battery chamber cover to the side. If there's no slot, push the tab to one side with your finger and open the chamber cover. Use only a lithium battery size CR 2032 or DL 2032. Place the battery into the chamber with the plus sign face-up. Push the chamber cover closed and it will lock.

How do you change time for daylight savings time?

On the Bose Wave Music System clock radio remote there is a + and - button labeled "time." This is how you set the time. Hold either the + button to move the time forward or the - button to set the time backwards. You don't need to push any buttons before you press the + or -. After you have set the time you can press the "alarm time" button to lock in your changed time.

Remote does not work, battery is good. Can I program my dish network remote? If so what codes can I use.

Sorry to hear about your original remote; we would be happy to help you with addressing your DISH remote to your Bose Wave Radio. Here is a list of some of the codes that we havefor Bose Wave Radio: 761, 664, 656, and 639.

Press and hold the AUX mode button until all mode buttons at the top of theremote come on, then release. Enter the number 2 then one of the codes for your Bose Wave Radio provided above. Press the pound (#) button, the mode light should flashthree times. Check that the code works by trying several different functions onthe remote to make sure it will properly operate your Bose Wave Radio. Keep in mindthat some codes may not be compatible with your equipment. If this is the case, please try the other codes listed for that device until you find one that iscompatible with your equipment.

We hope this helps you, and thank you for being a valued DISH Network Customer!

I have a bose awrc1p radio display light changes

This could be the battery causing the display to act strangely. If the radio still works audio-wise, the following should fix the display: The older model wave radios have either a 9v or 3 AA batteries (accessible from the bottom). Remove any battery, and reset the system by unplugging the power cord for about 40 seconds. Plug it back in without the battery attached. If the problem goes away- replace the battery or batteries. (which is only there to hold the clock time, presets etc when not plugged in) BTW- you'll have to set the clock, alarm, presets etc after this procedure. If the problem doesn't go away, call Bose. I think they can repair this for $99 and/or offer a new one as a trade-in discounted.

I HAVE A BOSE WAVE RADIO AND THE VOLUME WILL NOT WORK

Change the batteries in the remote, or manually change the volume with the up and down arrowed buttons on the top of the unit.

If this does not suffice, let me assure you that Bose will take good care of the service end of their relationship with you.
