I was looking at my Maytag dryer which stopped drying clothes. When I opened up the timer panel I noticed that the pink wire had been pulled off and taped up with electrical tape. I do not have a multimeter, will be getting that later today, but why would someone tape up the pink wire to the timer in the first place?
