- I plug it in and it will open the tray, load a DVD, and play for possibly up to a minute. Then the green play arrow lickers and appears to be dimmer, and the Disc In light seems to be dimmer. At this point, it will not respond to any of the controls. If it sits awhile, sometimes less than a minute, the buttons will work again, but it will die again in a short time. When it goes dead, the DVD slowly winds down and stops. - papabrowMay 18, 2008
- I have the same problem - powers on then after 10 seconds or so dies - as though its been turned off at the wall.I have to then turn it off at the wall and back on again to get it to power up as the button on the front of the machine does nothing.- penner0_7
