Question about Xante CL30 HSE Laser Printer
On power-up screen reads "open upper cover 382: paper jam". There is no paper anywhere in the printer. Can you please suggest a remedy.
I had the same problem with my cl30. the exit sensor was knocked out of place, and the actuater was actually reading as if paper was present at the exit.

Remove the fuser and examine it closely (Note: the fuser gets extremely hot. Wait until it has cooled completely before touching it!) Paper or a paper fragment might be balled up inside it.
Even just re-seating the fuser might clear the sensor that is reporting this jam.
If the printer continues to stall with this error code, even though there is no jam, it could have a faulty sensor. This would have to be repaired with a service call...
