Re: TP43H60 component input color issue
From our experience letting customer dance around in the service menus usually they end up with a problem way worse or a dead set. It would be best to check the cables first, After looking in the service manual it appears there are no separate brightness or gain controls for componet but if you still need the service manual I can E-mail it. But once again more sets have been destroyed by a customer just tweaking things a bit in the service menu

You are describing the MASTER SCREEN/ FOCUS CONTROL BLOCK---black with six controls--three are red, green and blue focus--the other three are screen controls--red, green and blue--- the screens are adjusted so with the color off you have normal brightness and a black and white picture--
They have nothing to do with any Convergence problem and unless they have been tampered with rarely need to be adjusted---

Have you tried to adjust in the customer menu or in the TECH menu? I can tell you how to get into the tech menu--if it will not adjust there you have a convergence circuit problem and I can tell you what is needed to repair the set.
sounds like maybe a fusible resistor has opend. Did you remove one leg of the resistors out of circuit when you checked them? Also some toshiba models had fuseable links near the ICs some mounted between the fins on the heatsink and others were solderd directly to the circuit traces themselves.
I am not sure what your needing help with , however its posted under convergence . Your set if having difficulty with aligning the colors will need to have both Convergence ICs replaced. This is an easy repair you need two STK392-110 Convergenve ICs. You can get them at the following link just click on the section titled Convergence IC and you will see your ICs listed there.
