Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3i Cellular Phone

1 Answer

I can't hear on my phone

Whether incoming or outgoing I can't hear. I am forced to put it on speaker phone, which works but isn't always convenient if you don't want everyone nearby hearing your conversation. I have adjusted the volume all the way up but it still sounds like the caller is barely whispering. I bought it on ebay and the seller simply told me to log on to this site to find the problem. Is there something I can do to fix this????

Cannot hear incoming or outgoing callls

1- Probably the problem is with the speaker = change the in-built speaker
OR
2- The problem is with the earphone jack. = Check if a headphone sign is there on the screen. If yes... then connect & remove headphone/ear-set jack into your mobile few times till the headphone sign is gone from the mobile screen.

Samsung alias earpiece speaker

Possible the earpiece has gone bad. Can you test with another earpiece?
Remove battery and examine metal contact points for dirt. Can clean with a pencil eraser.

Incoming or outgoing calls no sounds

Turn up the volumes on Ear piece -during- a call (on the side of the phone <===>) and on the speaker at any time. The joy stick does it I think.
