Question about Motorola Mobility V262
My Motorola V262 beeps a "low battery" warning almost constantly. Even after an overnight charge, it will show full battery until one call is made, then low battery. The battery is not low, as it will go a full day or two just beeping away, through call after call - I have never in three years had the battery actually go dead on me. After power down and back up, battery indicator shows higher charge - until the phone is used once again, when alert resumes.
Is there some way to reset the phone so it has a better idea of what the battery's capacity is? Or is my best advice to "get a new phone"? I'll do that eventually but this phone otherwise serves my purposes well.
Thanks for your help.
I have v262, the problem sometimes is the contacts where the charger and phone gold connections meet. carefully inspect where they meet when charging, and remove any debris from them with help of a small pin or a dry toothbrush, but gently especially with the charger, because the plastic sometimes breaks. No big problem while cleaning, but make sure
there is no debris in contacts.

Your battery might need to be changed. even if it has a full charger it might not be able to properly charge you phone.
try a new battery.
