make sure if sim reader is not pin damaged or water damaged? if problem persist i think you can connect your device without simcard and copy all data to your pc, then give some repairer to check maybe need to flash (if flash you will lose your data). or try to put your mobile without battery 2 days and then switch on to see may be this problem solves.with S.E. this problem a normal.
The message you are receiving 'Insert SIM' is due to the SIM card not being registered. (ie., it was registered at one time but is not now.) As such, it cannot receive network information. And, your phone sees this SIM as nothing more than a piece of paper stuck in the SIM card slot.
A single SIM card is not used to activate - and then reactivate - an account. To get service on the phone, a new SIM card will need to be purchased.
If you're in doubt as to whether your phone will recognize a SIM, take your phone to one of your cellular provider's stores and let them test it.
Insert SIM card means that the SIM is not seated correctly. It may not be locked into place and got jostled around when you plugged the phone into power. This message would not relate to a battery going dead, only to the device not recognizing the SIM card and that would only be if the SIM was not activated (which you know that it is active) or if it is not properly seated (locked down, etc.). Make sure that the SIM is properly seated (look at the manual to be sure) and then you should be okay. If this is not the case, and the SIM is properly seated, then the device is defective, broken or the unlocking caused faulty errors.
The sim card holder has a tiny slide mechanism. After inserting the sim card and pressing it against the body of the phone, place your finger over the card and slide it gently forward. The tiny plastic part that holds the card will snap it into place. Hard to explain, but it will work.
