Question about Sony Ericsson G700 Unlocked GSM Smartphone - Tri-Band 900/180/1900, 3.2 Megapixel Camera, Bluetooth

1 Answer

Since a few days ago, my media library can only update files from my phone memory. I can't find anything from my memory card in my media player, but I can find them in the file manager. What's happening to my phone?

Hi,
1. connect your mobile to your computer in filetransfer mode.
2. Backup all the needed data to your system and format your memory card.
3. then transfer back the datas to your memory card.
4. now the files from memory card may be recognized in your media player.
5. You music files should be in standard MP3 format or else those files will not be added to your media player even though it is in memory card.
I hope this is helpful to you. Please rate my solution if you find it useful.
Thanks

To open the media player, select Menu > Media > Media player.

Music menu Access your music and video files stored in the phone memory or on the memory card, download music or video clips from the web, or view compatible video streams from a network server (network service). To listen to music or play a video clip, select a file from the available folders and Play.
To download files from the web, select Options > Downloads and a download site.
To update the music library after you have added files, select Options > Update library.

To adjust the volume level, press the volume keys.
Operate the player with the virtual keys on the display.

To skip to the beginning of the previous song, select icon_28.giftwice.

To rewind the current song, select and hold icon_28.gif. Release the key at the position you want to continue the music playback.

My 3110c phone's music player isn't working .

Open the music player. Press the left selection button and select Music library. Scroll down to select Update library. This will update the MP3 files to the library. If there is any MP3 file deleted or missing, it will be removed from the list from the music player.

Just select one of the MP3 file in your memory card and open it. It should work with media player. If it works with media player then the problem will be with the music player.

If this happens, go to Settings and select Restore factory settings and it will ask a password. Type 12345, and it will restore the settings to default. Then open the music player and update the library and it should work.

Thank you,

Music player not play

Make sure you have MP3 files in your memory card. Click one of the MP3 file and open it directly, it should play with media player.

Now, open the Music player and press left select button and select Music library. In the Music library menu scroll down and select Update library. This will update your music player song list and it should work.

If this does not work and if there is any settings changed in the music player, select the Settings icon, and select Restore factory settings. This will ask you a password enter 12345 and it will restore the settings of your mobile to default.

Thanks
